From Webinar to Practice: A Structured Digital Start

In December 2020, partners Marcel Aebischer and Dr. Martin E. Looser learned about the timeSensor LEGAL law firm management software in a webinar. The presented functions were convincing – shortly thereafter, the law firm contacted timeSensor to discuss the implementation of the law firm management software in their own practice.

In summer 2021, the time had come: the contract was signed. A structured implementation process, which lasted only three months, then followed, including the implementation of the law firm management software and comprehensive training for employees. The software was quickly integrated into daily law firm operations, and initial challenges – such as document storage or after software updates – were professionally resolved in close coordination with the responsible Account Manager at timeSensor.

Since then, timeSensor LEGAL has been in daily use at Küng Rechtsanwälte & Notare AG. The foundation for a long-term collaboration was laid.

The Step into the Cloud: More Security, Less Effort

timeSensor AG is always striving to optimize its law firm management software and establish new digitalization solutions. This included the technological advancement of the cloud solution and the establishment of a reliable Swiss data center as a hosting partner. With this, timeSensor AG offered its customers a powerful alternative to the local law firm server.

Küng Rechtsanwälte & Notare AG also opted for this path. The background: risks such as local server failure or maintenance problems with the hosting partner can thus be avoided. A significant gain in efficiency for the law firm.

In January 2023, the transition to the cloud took place – a step that proved to be a great success for Küng Rechtsanwälte & Notare AG. Responsibility for maintenance, security checks, and backups was fully transferred to timeSensor. At the same time, the law firm gained stability, flexibility, and data security – without sacrificing performance.

The collaboration with timeSensor AG was a game-changer for our law firm. The timeSensor LEGAL 365 software has made our law firm processes more efficient and allows us to have more time for our Clients. The advice and support are always there for us when we need help.

On a Growth Path with Future Technology

Initially, Küng Rechtsanwälte & Notare AG worked with the established version timeSensor Classic, which already stood out for its high functionality and user-friendliness. But time did not stand still – and the demands on modern law firm management software continued to evolve. With timeSensor LEGAL 365, timeSensor AG launched a new, more agile generation of its law firm management software.

The decision to focus on the further development of the new software version was communicated by timeSensor early and transparently – among other things, via a newsletter. Thereupon, in October 2024, Küng Rechtsanwälte & Notare AG proactively contacted them to learn details about the new product. A joint meeting followed – and already in November, the contract was signed, and data migration was agreed upon.

Since then, Küng Rechtsanwälte & Notare AG has benefited from numerous additional functions, including:

• Microsoft 365 Interface: Contacts, deadlines, and appointments are seamlessly synchronized with Outlook & Co. – regardless of the device.
• Statistics and Excel Reports: Important law firm key figures can be clearly evaluated and managed with various templates.
• Communicator: Emails are automatically filed in the digital client file and sent directly from the law firm management software – without manual drag & drop. For Germany, beA communication is already integrated; for Switzerland, Justitia 4.0 will follow.

The decision for timeSensor LEGAL 365 was also a decision for law firm growth for Küng Rechtsanwälte & Notare AG: From six employees in 2021, the team grew to ten people by 2024 – supported by a software solution that grows with them and is prepared for future requirements.
